Development Progress: Phoenix Business Park Infrastructure Funding
On September 1, 2026, the City of Palm Bay announced a $3.5 million Florida Job Growth Grant Fund award for wastewater infrastructure serving the planned Phoenix Business Park in the northeastern portion of The Compound. The City has identified an additional $1 million local contribution. The planned work includes approximately 16,000 linear feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer force main.
Palm Bay states that the infrastructure is intended to support approximately 960,000 square feet of future industrial and commercial space. The City's first-phase projections include approximately $42 million in direct private investment and more than 350 direct jobs.
